Montenegro plans joint inspections across eight areas during the 2026/2027 winter tourism season. Checks are scheduled in two main periods, with continuous inspections in January focused on four northern areas.

Airports of Montenegro could finance reconstruction of Podgorica and Tivat and handle 4.5 million to five million passengers a year by 2031, aviation analyst Petar Vojinović said. He linked the potential growth to investment, longer operating hours in Tivat and year-round operations in Podgorica.
