Saudi Arabia approved a grant of 3 million USD to Montenegro

Saudi Arabia has approved a grant of 3 million USD to support the development of the education sector in Montenegro, the Government announced.

As stated, during the meeting between Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ahmed Al Khateeb in New York, there was talk of mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Montenegro, according to the joint statement of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Tourism Saudi Arabia.

The two sides confirmed their commitment to improving cooperation in all areas, especially in tourism, health, education and infrastructure.

Minister Ahmed Al Khateeb expressed the readiness and commitment of Saudi Arabia to support development projects that contribute to the current and future development of Montenegro, noting, in this regard, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia approved a grant of three million US dollars to support the development of the education sector in Montenegro It’s burning.

The Prime Minister said that Montenegro appreciates the Kingdom’s support, which will have a positive impact on the stronger development of overall bilateral relations. Montenegro views the current dialogue with Saudi Arabia on support for development projects, as well as the improvement of cooperation in the tourism sector, as signs of further strengthening of friendly ties.

– It was also established that the Government of Montenegro at the session officially adopted the information on the elections for the organization of the World Exhibition in 2030 and instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to, in accordance with the decision of the Government, send support to the candidacy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Riyadh for the organization of EXPO 2030 – he states in the announcement.

The two sides confirmed their commitment to encouraging joint activities for the benefit of citizens and discussed participation in the upcoming EXPO 2030, where Montenegro will have a pavilion in which it will have the opportunity to show the world its natural beauty, rich history and unique cultural and historical heritage.
