Montenegro has a chance to be a business hub for the entire Western Balkans, especially in the green and sustainable economy, announced Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and added that he would like to see a greater presence of American companies.

Abazović, who is also the coordinator of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosted representatives of the American-Central European Business Association (ACEBA) in Villa Gorica.

As announced by the government, along with the ambassador of the United States of America (USA) in Montenegro, Judy Rising Reinke, there were representatives of the American companies Northop, Oshkosh, Visa, Pfizer, Global, Phillip Morris International, S2, Skydio at the meeting with the members of the government.

“The improvement of the Port of Bar will strongly help the faster development of Montenegro, which the Government will actively work on.” Together with the highway and the airports, this will complete the story of the improvement of the key infrastructure in Montenegro“, stressed Abazović.

Speaking about the great opportunities for improving cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism, Abazović said that the Government will make an effort to promote Montenegro to American tourists, for whom our country is an undiscovered destination for now.

“We are very grateful to the US Government for the help it provided in the fight for cyber security in the previous period. We see a great chance for cooperation with American companies in the area of ​​improving cyber security in the next ten years,” said Abazović.
