Montenegro and Saudi Arabia will form a joint commission for the implementation of projects in the field of tourism, it was announced at the meeting between Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al Kateb.
As reported by Spajić’s cabinet, the interlocutors agreed that the opening of the Montenegrin embassy in Riyadh will give a positive impulse to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, and that to this end, it is necessary to take the necessary actions as soon as possible.
Spajić presented to Al Kateb the work program of the 44th Government with an emphasis on tourism projects that may be the subject of future cooperation between the two countries.
Al Kateb said that Saudi Arabia sees Montenegro as a friendly country, and he sent Spajić an official invitation from Prince Mohammed bin Salman to visit Riyadh.
“The bilateral agreement on cooperation in tourism provides a good basis that needs to be built on with concrete cooperation,” the announcement says.
As it was added, Al Kateb invited Montenegro to submit proposals for infrastructure projects to the Development Fund there.
