There is significant interest from Israeli companies in investing and from tourists in visiting Montenegro, as discussed during a meeting between Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and the newly appointed non-resident Ambassador Avivit Bar-Ilan.
Spajić welcomed Bar-Ilan and expressed optimism about the continuation of strong bilateral relations between Montenegro and Israel.
“The meeting highlighted excellent cooperation in the fields of economy and investment, and it is encouraging to see the growing interest from Israeli companies in investing and their increasing presence in Montenegro,” stated the Prime Minister’s Cabinet.
The meeting also emphasized the high interest of Israeli tourists in visiting Montenegro, bolstered by the newly established flights from Tel Aviv to Podgorica and Tivat.
Spajić reiterated Montenegro’s support for a political and diplomatic resolution based on a two-state model as the only sustainable solution to the crisis in the Middle East.
“It was concluded that efforts should continue to finalize various initiatives for bilateral agreements, primarily in tourism, economic cooperation, environmental issues and agriculture,” the statement concluded.
