The services turnover index in the fourth quarter of last year decreased by 18.6 percent compared to the third quarter, according to data from the Montenegrin Statistical Office (Monstat).
However, compared to the same period in 2023, the services turnover index in the fourth quarter increased by 8.7 percent.
In the wholesale and retail trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles, and wholesale trade sector, the turnover index in the fourth quarter of last year was 7.7 percent higher than in the same period of 2023, but 12.2 percent lower compared to the third quarter of the previous year.
The turnover index for transportation and storage services in the fourth quarter of last year was 8.2 percent higher than in the same period of 2023, but 25.6 percent lower than in the third quarter of the previous year.
In the accommodation and food services sector, the turnover index in the fourth quarter of last year was 12.3 percent higher than in the same period of 2023, but 58.7 percent lower compared to the third quarter of the previous year.
For the information and communication services sector, the turnover index in the fourth quarter of last year was 0.6 percent lower than in the same period of 2023, but 6.5 percent higher than in the third quarter of the previous year.
