Economic Development Minister Nik Đeljošaj stated that a boycott of stores is not the solution, emphasizing that he is not defending the company Voli but rather the work of the Government and the decisions of the ministry he leads.
“I defend, and I will continue to defend, the decisions and actions of the Government that I vote for, and of course, the decisions of the ministry I lead, which has achieved fantastic results over the past year,” Đeljošaj wrote on Facebook.
According to him, the Government and the Ministry of Economic Development have managed to stop inflation and the rise in prices.
“I’m not defending any retail chain, and I’m not defending Voli. Voli has its owners, Mr. (Dragan) Bokan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. They can handle it themselves; you should contact them,” Đeljošaj added.
He stressed that he was against boycotting all stores the first time and is still against boycotting individual stores.
“Today it’s Voli, tomorrow it could be Laković… I repeat, that’s not the solution,” Đeljošaj concluded.
