Montenegro’s unemployment rate falls in February amid rising job openings

As of the end of February, Montenegro had 30,840 unemployed individuals, a decrease of 0.7% compared to January, according to data from the Employment Agency (ZZZ).

The unemployment rate at the end of January was 10.7%, down from 13.38% in the same month last year.

The agency recorded 1,390 new hires in the first two months of this year.

During the same period, 4,380 job openings were advertised.
