The recent opening of Hotel Wulfenia in the heart of Kolašin marks a significant enhancement of the tourism offering in northern Montenegro and provides a substantial boost to local employment.

Hotel General Manager Bartul Jambrošić shared that Wulfenia offers a unique opportunity to build something special from the ground up, in collaboration with people who share a passion for hospitality, nature, and quality.

“After years of experience in major hotel chains around the world, I’m excited to be part of a different kind of project—luxurious yet approachable, with a strong local identity. I’m especially proud that together with the Casa del Mare team, we can contribute not only to Kolašin’s tourism but also to the development of the local community,” said Jambrošić, who has an extensive international background in managing high-end hotels across Europe.

Marketing and sales coordinator Tijana Pavićević explained that the hotel’s name is inspired by the Wulfenia plant—a rare and resilient alpine flower that thrives in harsh conditions yet radiates beauty.

Wulfenia currently employs 54 people, 85% of whom are Montenegrin citizens. Among them, 33 employees come from northern municipalities such as Kolašin, Berane, Mojkovac, and Bijelo Polje. This is the first hotel to be fully developed and operated by Casa Hotels Management, which reflects the company’s strategic focus on sustainable growth and local community integration.

The hotel features 102 modern accommodation units, a wellness area, restaurant, patisserie, children’s playroom, conference halls, and a variety of additional amenities, offering a refreshing upgrade to the region’s tourism portfolio.

The project investor is BB Invest Group, while Casa Hotels Management, a company specializing in the development and operation of high-standard hotels, oversees day-to-day management. Casa Hotels is known for its personalized service under the established brand Casa del Mare.
