Tivat sees 10% increase in tourist arrivals fueled by foreign visitors

Tivat currently hosts 4,670 tourists, marking a 10% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the local Tourist Organization. This figure is also 23% higher than in 2019, indicating steady growth in tourism.

Most visitors stay in private accommodations, with 3,730 tourists recorded, nearly all of whom are international guests. This segment saw a 9% increase from last year and a 27% rise compared to 2019.

Hotels accommodate 934 guests, a 16% increase year-on-year and 14% more than in 2019, with foreign tourists making up the majority.

Foreign tourists represent over 99% of all visitors, highlighting the importance of the international market for local tourism. The largest share of arrivals comes from Russia (24.93%), followed by Serbia (20.72%), with notable numbers also from Turkey, the UK, and Azerbaijan. Other contributing countries include Germany, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, and Croatia.
