Government approves 2025 budget amendments following Ministry restructuring

Supported byOwner's Engineer banner

The Government of Montenegro has approved amendments to the 2025 Budget Law to align with a new regulation on the organization and operation of state administration. The changes involve the transfer of responsibilities, staff, equipment, and documentation between ministries, specifically the Ministry of Public Works taking over from the Capital Projects Administration, and the Ministry of Energy and Mining assuming duties from the Ministry of Mining, Oil and Gas, and the Ministry of Energy.

Accordingly, budget funds have been reallocated to the newly established ministries based on the transferred responsibilities, including the unused funds from previous allocations. The technical adjustments made within the current and capital budgets will not affect the overall budget outcome and will not change the initially projected revenues, total expenses, or deficit.
