The Director of Morsko Dobro, Mladen Mikijelj, announced that the company Eagle Hills has been charged 430,000 EUR as a guarantee payment.
Speaking to the RTCG portal, Mikijelj emphasized that neither Eagle Hills nor its owner, Mohamed Alabbar, receive any special treatment.
“There have been some media speculations, but I want to make it clear that Morsko Dobro activated the submitted bank guarantees and collected the amount of 430,000 EUR,” Mikijelj stated.
He added that Eagle Hills was the highest-ranked bidder for a total of nine locations but withdrew from seven of them, according to RTCG.
“All activities of Morsko Dobro have been conducted with full transparency,” Mikijelj concluded.
