The Montenegrin Transport Administration plans to launch a tender for the construction of a new boulevard through Tivat. In preparation, a meeting was held at the initiative of Tivat Mayor Željko Komnenović, bringing together all institutions and companies involved in the project.
The goal was to align administrative requirements with the project scope and tender documentation. Mayor Komnenović emphasized that the boulevard is essential for Tivat’s future development and noted that funding is secured through the national capital budget. The project will be managed by the Government’s Transport Administration with full support from the Municipality of Tivat.
Key infrastructure such as power, sewage, and telecom networks is planned to be integrated into the boulevard. Transport Administration Director Radomir Vuksanović announced the tender is expected in August, with construction scheduled to begin in September 2026. The project will follow a “turnkey” model with phased work, maintaining two-way traffic at all times.
