EPCG launches procurement for Kapino Polje solar power plant modules

Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) has announced a public tender for the procurement of photovoltaic modules for the Kapino Polje solar power plants L1 and L2 in Nikšić.

The procurement is divided into two lots: Lot 1 covers modules for Kapino Polje L2 with an estimated value of €525,000, and Lot 2 covers modules for Kapino Polje L1 valued at €100,000. A total of 10,500 modules with a capacity of 580 Wp each are planned. The total procurement value is €625,000 excluding VAT.

The modules will have a minimum product warranty of 25 years and a cell efficiency warranty of 30 years. The tender is open until September 19, with bids to be opened on the same day.

The overall Kapino Polje solar project has a total capacity of 61.09 MWp and a value of €35.1 million. Kapino Polje L1 and L2 will each have capacities of around 6 MWp and costs of €3.5 million. The project also includes future plans for Kapino Polje B1 and B2, aiming to make the complex one of the country’s most significant renewable energy sources.
