The damage caused by wildfires has cost CEDIS over 140,000 euros, the company reported.
They noted that Montenegro recently faced a major fire disaster, which left significant consequences behind.
“In addition to the considerable impact on environmental quality and human health, the fires caused extensive material damage. Our teams were on high alert throughout the fires, bravely working in the field under extremely difficult conditions. They managed to repair the damage to support colleagues from other services and ensure power supply for users threatened by the fires,” CEDIS stated on Facebook.
Since the beginning of the summer season, more than 250 utility poles have been replaced due to the damage caused by the fires across Montenegro.
“During and after this natural disaster, 55 employees were engaged in our company, who, in addition to their regular duties, worked around the clock in the fire-affected areas. Their dedication and courage demonstrated true loyalty to the company and love for their country, for which we are deeply grateful,” CEDIS added.
