Air Montenegro recently lost four managers brought into the company by Chief Executive Vukadin Stojanović, the national airline’s executives told journalists at a working breakfast yesterday. The departures included two senior and two mid-level managers, among them the directors of legal and finance and the head of accounting.
Stojanović said the four left by mutual agreement and at their own request. “There was no alleged disagreement with Air Montenegro management decisions,” he said. Stojanović and Board Chairman Tihomir Dragaš said management had raised concerns, particularly about the legal department’s work and the conduct of some employees who left.
Stojanović said no specialists from operations, technical or other key sectors, and no flight crew, had left the airline. The departures therefore did not include staff from those areas, he said.
He also cited interest from flight crew in the region in joining Air Montenegro, saying Montenegro’s aircraft-type licence gives, or will give, them administrative advantages in the European Union.
