A new invitation to lease land for the construction of a wind farm

At the end of August, the Ministry of Finance issued a second public call for the long-term lease of state-owned land for a period of 30 years, for the purpose of building a wind farm in the Municipality of Šavnik.

The land in the cadastral municipality of Malinsko, which consists of two parcels with a total area of ​​635.3 thousand square meters, is leased for the purpose of designing, building, exploiting and maintaining a wind power plant with an installed power of 6.6 megawatts (MW) individually per wind generator.

The deadline for submitting applications is until Monday at 1 p.m., while the public oral competition will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Ministry’s premises.

The initial price of the real estate lease on an annual basis amounts to EUR 176.4 thousand. The annual rental price is adjusted for the amount of the appropriate annual inflation rate determined in Montenegro.

All domestic and foreign individuals and companies, as well as consortia, have the right to participate in the public bidding, if they have purchased the auction documentation, paid a deposit in the amount of five percent of the initial rental price, signed the draft contract and registered as participants in the auction.

In addition to the stated conditions, the participant must also meet the qualification conditions, that is, have experience in the field of designing or building wind farms and prove that in the last two business years, individually by year, he has achieved a positive financial result.

Qualification requirements must be met cumulatively. Fulfillment of the requirements will be evaluated when submitting the participant’s applications.
