The Alimentation Fund has paid out a total of €37,564.02 for temporary child support, based on 178 decisions from social welfare centers. Of this amount, €36,886.74 was paid as temporary support, while €677.28 was allocated for the costs of the enforcement procedure, according to the Ministry of Finance.
Regarding the distribution by municipality, the largest number of decisions came from the Social Welfare Center in Podgorica with 54 cases, followed by Nikšić with 29, Budva with 18, Danilovgrad with 14, Bar with 12, Mojkovac with 9, Bijelo Polje with 10, Herceg Novi with 8, Pljevlja with 8, Kotor with 6, Ulcinj with 4, and Golubovci with 2. Berane, Cetinje, Plav, and Andrijevica each had one case.
The temporary child support was paid for 199 children, with 7 children under the age of 5, 108 children aged 6 to 13, and 84 children aged 14 to 18 receiving support.
In terms of the parents’ gender, 27 fathers (20%) and 106 mothers (80%) were the legal representatives who applied for temporary child support.
The Alimentation Fund also issued 166 decisions in December 2024 for the reimbursement of the temporary support paid, requiring maintenance debtors to repay the amounts issued.
