At the end of March, there were almost 1.27 million mobile phone users in Montenegro, slightly more than in February.
The number of users in March corresponds to a penetration of 204.54 percent, according to the report of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP).
Compared to the same period last year, the number of users in March was 15.44 percent higher.
The share of postpaid users was 57.08 percent, and prepaid 42.92 percent.
Of the total number of users, M:tel had the most 467.53 thousand or 36.87 percent, followed by Crnogorski Telekom 448.72 thousand or 35.38 percent and One 351.94 thousand or 27.75 percent. M:tel had 40.79 percent of the total number of prepaid users, One 30.02 percent, and Crnogorski Telekom 29.19 percent.
In March, Crnogorski Telekom had 40.04 percent of postpaid users, M:tel 33.91 percent, and One 26.04 percent.
