The average December electricity bill for households in Montenegro, excluding unread meters in properties that are not permanently inhabited, amounts to €45.86.
- Households in Žabljak recorded the lowest average consumption at €23.58, while the highest average consumption was observed in Tivat, where households spent an average of €59.53 on electricity, according to a statement from Elektroprivreda (EPCG).
The company stated that 54.74% of households received bills under €30, 13.81% of consumers were billed between €30 and €50, 20.36% had bills between €50 and €100, and 11.09% of customers had bills exceeding €100.
- A total of 162,750 households, or 40.69% of households in Montenegro, received a discount, the statement added.
In December, households consumed 162.46 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, which is 22.94% more compared to November’s consumption, and 7.68% higher than the consumption recorded in December 2023.
