Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and user base, recently held its first Community Meetup in Montenegro. The event highlighted the country’s record-breaking crypto trading volume over the past two years, signaling growing interest and potential in the digital economy and crypto markets.
The meetup took place in Podgorica and brought together more than 300 participants from across Montenegro. It served as a valuable opportunity for crypto enthusiasts to connect with top regional Binance experts, learn about the latest industry trends, and discuss the future of digital assets.
Sandro Slukan, Binance’s Regional Marketing Lead for the Balkans, introduced the latest Binance products and shared key statistics reflecting the impressive growth of Montenegro’s crypto community and trading activity. He emphasized the importance of such events in supporting the local ecosystem and encouraging innovation.
Slukan stated that the Community Meetup in Montenegro was a strong confirmation of the importance of staying close to users and building a lasting presence in the region. He explained that Binance aims not only to present its products but also to engage users in meaningful conversations, gather insights, and respond to local needs. According to him, Montenegro has great potential to develop into a strong and independent Web3 community driven by blockchain innovation.
Other speakers included Polina Brottier, a marketing manager with over 15 years of international experience, who provided an overview of the broader Binance ecosystem and spoke about the community’s role in expanding access to digital finance. Myshyko Charkviani, an expert in affiliate programs and community building across Central and Eastern Europe, the CIS, and the Balkans, focused on the educational aspects of Binance’s affiliate initiatives and the impact of local influencers in spreading crypto knowledge.
During the event, participants explored new Binance products, learned about the development of the Binance community, the role of Binance Angels (volunteers), and the platform’s strategic goals for Montenegro and the Balkans. The program featured inspiring talks, insights into regional and global crypto trends, interactive sessions with the community, and the chance to win exclusive Binance gift packages.
