The journalists explored numerous tourist attractions across Montenegro, enjoying the warm hospitality and excellent atmosphere provided by their hosts. They were particularly impressed by the Kotor-Lovćen cable car ride and the stunning views of the Bay of Kotor. The beauty of Luštica, Perast and the historic towns of Kotor and Herceg Novi also left a lasting impression, according to the NTO.

Jack Elsom from The Sun praised Montenegro’s beauty, rich history and friendly locals.

“The breathtaking natural landscapes and delicious traditional cuisine were standout features. I’m certain I’ll return in the future, as this experience was unforgettable and made a strong impression on me. I highly recommend this destination to anyone looking for something unique,” Elsom said. The Sun is one of the UK’s most widely read publications, with 353 million monthly impressions.

Ed Gleave from Reach PLC was inspired by Montenegro’s landscapes and cultural heritage and plans to feature the country in future articles.

“My visit to Montenegro was exceptional. I was amazed by the stunning views and landscapes. It’s an ideal destination for British travelers, offering a wealth of sights to see. The friendly hosts, tasty traditional food, charming old towns, beautiful mountains, and rich cultural heritage make this country even more appealing. I would definitely recommend Montenegro to anyone seeking an unforgettable vacation,” Gleave commented.

The NTO noted that Reach PLC is one of the largest publishers in the UK, including well-known newspapers such as Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror, Daily Express, Sunday Express, and Daily Star.

The NTO also mentioned that EasyJet has recognized Montenegro’s potential. In addition to existing flights from London and Manchester, the airline has introduced new routes from another London airport and Bristol this year.

“This initiative significantly boosts Montenegro’s visibility in the UK market. The journalists’ visit will further enhance the country’s promotion in British media, attracting broader interest,” the statement added.

EasyJet, the UK-based low-cost airline headquartered at London Luton Airport, operates over 900 domestic and international routes in more than 34 countries through its affiliated carriers EasyJet UK, EasyJet Switzerland, and EasyJet Europe.

Local tourism organizations in Herceg Novi, Kotor, Budva, Žabljak and Cetinje, as well as the Kotor Cable Car, supported the organization of the journalists’ visit.
