A key element of the budget is a special program to support young couples, including co-financing housing costs for newlyweds. This initiative is aimed at helping young families settle in the city and establish a stable existence.

Additionally, the budget continues support for free preschool education, co-financing assisted reproductive treatments, payments for newborns and maternity leave, as well as assistance for vulnerable groups and free transport for pensioners. These programs are designed to improve the quality of life for residents and encourage youth to stay and build their future in Cetinje.

Mayor Đurašković also announced that, next year, the city will co-finance housing building adaptations, covering 60% to 70% of costs. The budget also includes allocations for agriculture, women’s entrepreneurship, and start-up businesses, which have shown positive results in previous years.

Record allocations for sports are planned, increasing from €800,000 to €1.17 million, aiming to improve conditions for sports clubs. The goal is to ensure athletes in Cetinje have the necessary facilities to excel.

The budget also includes numerous services in social and child protection areas, such as counseling for youth using psychoactive substances and partial funding for addiction treatment. Special attention will be given to children without parental care, victims of domestic, peer, and sexual violence, and individuals in social need, particularly regarding housing solutions.

Overall, the budget reflects a commitment to improving living conditions for all residents of Cetinje, addressing their needs and the city’s future growth, concluded Mayor Đurašković.
