Companies included in the MNSE10 index achieved a profit of EUR 36 million

At the end of 2022, the most representative companies in Montenegro that are part of the MNSE10 stock exchange index achieved a total business income of EUR 1.16 billion, which is about 51.48% more compared to the previous year.

The net profit of these companies amounted to slightly more than 36 million, which is a drop of 55.43% compared to 2021, when it amounted to about 80.98 million EUR. This is shown by the analysis done by the Montenegro Stock Exchange.

The data show that the biggest increase in operating income for last year in the year 2021 was recorded by Jugopetrol, Luka Bar and HG Budvanska Riviera. The Montenegro Stock Exchange notes that Sveti Stefan hotels have not submitted their financial statements for the past year until the moment of writing this report.

The largest absolute net profit was achieved by the Montenegrin Electric Transmission System (CGES) and Jugopetrol, while the largest increase in net results was recorded by the companies Luka Bar, Budvanska Riviera and Jugopetrol.

Positive earnings per share were recorded at seven out of ten companies, and the highest at Jugopetrol, Hipotekarna banka and CGES.
