Montenegro’s delegation attends annual IMF and World Bank meetings in Washington

A delegation from Montenegro, led by the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank, will participate in the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) in Washington.

During the meetings, the delegation will hold discussions with senior officials from the IMF and WB, focusing on key economic, fiscal and monetary policy challenges and opportunities, particularly in strengthening Montenegro’s public finances and financial system.

In addition to meetings with IMF and WB leaders, the Minister and the Governor will engage in bilateral discussions with their counterparts from other countries, as well as representatives from renowned financial institutions, funds, rating agencies, and investors.

The annual meetings, which run until Sunday, bring together influential global leaders, central bank governors, finance ministers, and representatives from the financial sector, non-governmental organizations, and academia to exchange views on significant global issues.
