Energy 2 from Podgorica has received approval to build the Sinjajevina Part I wind farm in Lipovska Bistrica, Kolašin.

The Environmental Protection Agency approved the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the project, confirming that it complies with the Law on Environmental Impact Assessment and includes measures to prevent, reduce, or eliminate negative environmental effects during construction, operation, and in case of accidents. The government issued urban-technical conditions for project documentation in 2023, and the Ministry of Finance launched a 30-year land lease tender for over 1.5 million square meters in Lipovska Bistrica to support the wind farm’s construction and operation. The annual lease starts at €539,000.
