A ceremonial ground-breaking for the Gvozd Wind Farm (VE Gvozd) will take place on Wednesday, according to a statement from Elektroprivreda (EPCG).
The cornerstone will be laid at the future site of the wind farm on the Krnovska Plateau.

The construction of the VE Gvozd, valued at 82 million EUR, will be carried out by a consortium of leading companies, headed by Nordex.
The installed capacity of the future facility will be 54.6 megawatts (MW), and according to the contract, the work is expected to be completed within the next 18 months.

Once completed, the VE Gvozd will produce 150 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity annually.
