Growth of the Montenegrin capital market

At the 41st session of the 5th convocation of the Capital Market Commission of Montenegro, Erste Asset Management from Zagreb issued approvals for the trading of investment units for “ERSTE QUALITY EQUITY”Feeder Open Investment Fund with a public offer, as well as for “Erste Horizont 2025 II” sub-fund of the Open Investment Fund with a public offer, which is part of the Erste Asset Management umbrella UCITS fund.

In this way, as they announced, the Commission took a significant step forward in the further development of the Montenegrin capital market.

– This is a key step in the internationalization of the Montenegrin capital market, which additionally confirms the granting of seven permits for offering investment units of investment funds from member states this year – three from Croatia and four from Hungary – the announcement states.

The inclusion of the funds of Erste Asset Management from Zagreb will further enrich the offer on the Montenegrin capital market, providing investors with a more diverse range of investment options and greater opportunities for portfolio diversification.

– This wide range of options is essential in the context of the globalization of financial markets, which requires that even smaller markets, such as the Montenegrin one, open up according to regional and global trends, guaranteeing transparency, competitiveness and access to different investment strategies – it was clarified.

It is especially important to point out that the mentioned approvals are extremely important for further attracting foreign investments, which is one of the goals of the Capital Market Commission.

– The internationalization of funds on the Montenegrin market not only confirms its stability and attractiveness, but also significantly strengthens the international perception of Montenegro as a market that is open for business and investment opportunities – they state.
