Herceg Novi is set to develop a modern sports center spanning nearly 23,000 square meters, with the project led by Slovak investor Saša Dragaš, who purchased the land from the municipality for 1.14 million euros. The center will feature a sports hall, restaurant, sports fields, outdoor pools and an apart-hotel.

The project will unfold in two phases. The first phase will focus on enhancing transportation infrastructure, while the second phase will involve the construction of the sports hall and additional tourist accommodation facilities. The sports hall will primarily cater to martial arts and include necessary amenities like changing rooms and a reception area.

The upper floor will house a restaurant with a capacity for 120 guests, complete with a terrace offering sea views. Additionally, there will be depandans designed to accommodate athletes, along with educational spaces such as an amphitheater.

This new complex is expected to significantly boost sports tourism in Herceg Novi, providing modern facilities for training and recreation. The project follows the municipality’s announcement of the land sale in September of last year, paving the way for this exciting development.
