The Mayor of Nikšić, Marko Kovačević, has signed a contract with Leva Vais, a representative of the BIG Fashion company, for the purchase of land for the construction of a shopping center.

Kovačević called this a historic moment, as Nikšić, in addition to its ongoing infrastructure projects, has gained a significant investor from Israel. The construction of this shopping center will create new employment opportunities for the city’s residents.

“The Municipality of Nikšić has created a favorable business environment for new investors, and today I signed a contract with an important investor from Israel, marking the beginning of the construction of a shopping center in our city. Over the past four years, we have significantly reduced the unemployment rate, and with the opening of this shopping center, our citizens will have another chance to find employment, further decreasing the unemployment rate in our city. This is a historic moment for Nikšić and our citizens, and I am confident there will be more such moments in the near future, as we plan to work even more intensively for the benefit of our residents,” said Kovačević.

Vais thanked Kovačević for the trust and expressed hopes for a successful partnership.
