In the second public sale of the Igalo Hotel, following a final court ruling in favor of the Acović family, the building owned by Vektra Boka was sold to the Herceg Novi company “Herc Gradnja” for 11.325 million euros at the office of public executor Jasminka Bajović.

The sale took place in a tense atmosphere, with dissatisfaction among the employees of Vektra Boka, represented by former Union President Vojo Miljanić, as well as minority shareholder Danilo Matijašević.

According to Matijašević, the main reason for the dissatisfaction is the negligence of the Vektra Boka Board of Directors and the majority owner of Vektra Montenegro, as well as its bankruptcy trustee Radojica Grba. He claims that over the past six months, they failed to take action to address the workers’ issues. They missed the legal opportunity to reduce the claims of “Mesopromet” against Vektra Boka, as well as the claims of other creditors, including lawyer Jovićka, the Local Public Revenue Administration, and others.

“They only cared about their high fees in the Board of Directors, ranging from 2,400 to 2,800 euros per month for the chairman of the Board of Directors, Radovan Samardžić,” the aggrieved workers say, according to Matijašević.

Given that the workers are in the third payment priority, there will not be enough money from the sale of the Igalo Hotel to settle their claims, as reported by Novski portal.
