In August, 240.75 thousand arrivals and 1.09 million overnight stays of tourists were realized in collective accommodation in Montenegro, according to Monstat’s preliminary data.
“Out of the total number of overnight stays in collective accommodation, 92 percent were made by foreigners, and 8 percent by domestic tourists,” the announcement states.
In the structure of overnight stays by type of tourist places in July, the most overnight stays were achieved in coastal towns 92.5 percent, the capital 4.3 percent, mountain towns 2 percent and other towns 1.3 percent.
Collective accommodation facilities include hotels, boarding houses, motels, tourist settlements, resorts, hostels and camps and does not include individual, so-called private accommodation – accommodation in houses and rooms for rent, as well as in tourist apartments.
