In Montenegro, according to unofficial data, there are 17,370 tourists, announced the Acting Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable and Northern Development, Nikola Tomašević.
“This represents an achievement of 92.66% compared to the comparative data for the previous year, or an increase of 138% compared to 2019,” said Tomašević.
According to the tourist organizations, the highest number of tourists is in Budva, Herceg Novi, and Bar.
There are 4,780 tourists staying in hotels, which is 51% more than last year, or 125% compared to 2019.
The majority of tourists come from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Turkey, Kosovo, Germany, Austria, and Russia.
