The prices of personal consumption products and services, measured by the consumer price index, in November, compared to October, were on average 0.9% higher, according to Monstat data. Compared to the same month last year, prices increased by 17.5%.
The biggest impact on the monthly inflation rate was the increase in prices in the groups milk, cheese and eggs, fuel and lubricant for motor vehicles, real rents paid by tenants for their primary residence, meat, shoes and other footwear, clothing, fish and seafood, services for maintenance and repair of apartments.
Consumer prices in the period from January to November this year, compared to the same period last year, increased by 12.7% on average.
Observed by the main groups of products and services according to the purpose of consumption, in November compared to the previous month, growth was recorded in the groups transportation 2.8%, food and non-alcoholic beverages, clothing and footwear, and other goods and services one percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels 0.8%, recreation and culture also 0.8%.
Prices also increased in the category of furniture, household equipment and routine apartment maintenance by 0.4%, communications by 0.2%, and alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 0.1%.
The drop in prices recorded in the restaurants and hotels groups by 2.2% and health by 0.7%.
The prices of other products and services did not change significantly, local media reports.
