The Ministry of Agriculture, led by Minister Vladimir Joković, is focused on enhancing investment measures and rural development, aiming for a more substantial budget and increased support for agricultural initiatives. As of September 30, 2024, Montenegro has funded 605 projects, receiving €38.80 million in support, including €29.10 million from the EU.

New non-refundable EU funds through the IPARD III program (€63 million) are expected to boost domestic production and reduce imports. The agricultural budget implementation is on track, with significant payments anticipated in the fall, reflecting the needs of farmers impacted by recent damages.
