“This initiative is not only a step toward energy efficiency and a greener future but also a positive example of socially responsible and efficient business practices,” said Panagopoulos.

Additionally, the modernization of the fueling station will involve the installation of 10 new pumps, significantly improving fueling efficiency and ensuring adequate capacity during periods of high demand.

Besides the terminal’s reconstruction and modernization, the installation of vapor recovery units is a key component of the project. These devices are designed to collect and treat gasoline vapors throughout the distribution process, directly contributing to reducing the ecological footprint and improving air quality in the community.

By implementing new technological solutions during the vaporization process, the project will provide more efficient services and reduce pollution not only in Bar but also throughout the country.

Panagopoulos also emphasized that the sea purification systems in Bar have been functioning efficiently for years, and Jugopetrol remains committed to developing sustainable solutions and applying the highest environmental standards in line with environmental protection regulations.

At the same time, Jugopetrol continues to actively support social initiatives across Montenegro, investing over 2.5 million euros in education, healthcare, and sports. These efforts contribute to the development of local communities and the improvement of quality of life throughout the country.

“Jugopetrol is a reliable investor in the country, with significant investments of over 75 million euros since 2003. We are dedicated to expanding and improving our capacities in line with the latest technological advancements and industry standards to ensure a continuous supply of top-quality products to the market,” Panagopoulos emphasized.

Through these projects and ongoing investments, Jugopetrol is positioning itself as a leader in applying sustainable and innovative solutions within Montenegro’s energy sector, aiming to make a positive impact on the environment and local communities.
