Banks’ liquid assets in July amounted to EUR 1.78 billion, which is 5.42% more than in June.
The liquid assets of banks in July, compared to the same month last year, were 7.68% higher.
The balance sheet of banks at the end of July amounted to EUR 6.65 billion and recorded a growth of 2.28% compared to June, while at the annual level it strengthened by 14.62%.
In the structure of banks’ assets, in July total loans had a dominant share of 60.23%, followed by cash and deposit accounts with central banks with 20.27%, securities with 18.5%, while one percent related to to the remaining asset items.
In the structure of liabilities, the dominant share of 81.16% was achieved by deposits, followed by capital with 11.61%, loans with 4.09%, while other items accounted for 3.14% of total liabilities.
The total capital of banks at the end of July amounted to EUR 772.27 million, and on a monthly and annual basis, it recorded a growth of 2.19% and 28.24%, respectively.
