The maritime route between Budva and Dubrovnik will be operational next season, according to Filip Radulović, the Minister of Maritime Affairs.
Radulović highlighted that although the service began in late June this year, passenger interest has demonstrated the project’s potential for the future.

He emphasized that the justification for this maritime connection with the neighboring EU member extends beyond tourism, also offering significant relief for road traffic.
- This route represents a significant step towards enhancing tourism and connecting two attractive coastal cities, providing tourists and locals with a fast, comfortable, and reliable link. I believe that the Budva-Dubrovnik maritime route will become a tourist brand, making our country more recognizable globally. Many tourists visiting Dubrovnik are likely to take the opportunity to explore Budva, our coastline, and our country. I am pleased that we will continue contributing to tourism development and making travel easier for all passengers, Radulović stated.
The Croatian company Kompas launched the Budva-Dubrovnik maritime route on June 29.
