Montenegro Airports have released their summer flight schedule, which may be subject to changes depending on airline operations. Passengers are advised to contact their chosen carriers for the latest updates and information.
The summer aviation season begins on March 30 and runs until the end of October.
According to announcements, the Tivat Airport will offer approximately 50 active flight routes this summer. A key highlight is the entry of the Spanish low-cost carrier, Vueling, which will introduce its first-ever route to Montenegro, connecting Tivat to Barcelona starting on July 1. In addition, several existing partners and carriers, including easyJet and Jet2.com, have announced an increase in flight frequencies throughout most of the summer season, signaling that the tourism season in Montenegro could extend to seven months, rather than just two or three months, as has been the case in previous years.
At Podgorica Airport, over 45 flight routes are expected, including five new routes: Prague (Air Montenegro), Brno (Air Montenegro), Baku (Air Montenegro), Cairo (Petroleum Air Services) – charter, and Madrid (Iberia) – charter.
Montenegro Airports are also working diligently to make the Podgorica-Madrid route a regular seasonal service starting next year.
In 2024, Montenegro Airports served over 2.8 million passengers, with Podgorica handling more than 1.75 million and Tivat surpassing one million.
For 2025, the passenger traffic is expected to exceed three million, according to the statement.
