Montenegro Airports sees record passenger growth as government considers future management options

The state has all options on the table to make the best decision for the future of Montenegro Airports, said Roko Tolić, the executive director of Montenegro Airports.

In the show “Good Morning Montenegro,” Tolić explained that through a concession, the state would not lose control over the airports. Montenegro retains the right to re-enter and manage the airports at any time, even if they are temporarily leased to another party.

Commenting on the current season, Tolić described it as record-breaking, with all key performance indicators for Montenegro Airports showing positive results.

From an aviation perspective, as of July 15 this year, passenger traffic is up by 8% compared to the same period in 2024.
