Minister Slaven Radunović held a meeting with Zećir Ramčilović, the Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia to Montenegro. The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of construction and housing, according to a statement from the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property.

In the construction sector, both parties identified the development of an electronic building permit system as a key area for collaboration. The cooperation would involve sharing knowledge and experiences to create a legal framework for implementing e-business in this sector. The aim is to ensure full transparency throughout the building permit process, from application submission to the final approval.

The meeting also addressed the exchange of best practices in housing. With the Housing Regulatory Commission functioning as an independent body in North Macedonia and Montenegro’s Ministry working on the Housing Policy Strategy through 2034—which includes plans for establishing a national body for the construction, maintenance, and management of the housing fund—both sides expressed mutual interest in working together to draft new legal solutions in this area.

Minister Radunović and Ambassador Ramčilović expressed satisfaction with the current state of cooperation and emphasized the importance of further strengthening and expanding this partnership, as highlighted in the ministry’s statement.
