Montenegro and UAE strengthen ties through ongoing partnership and cooperation

Montenegrin Minister of Public Works Majda Adžović met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Montenegro, Yusuf Almazrouei, highlighting that cooperation between Montenegro and the UAE represents an example of a strong partnership that continues to develop across multiple areas of mutual interest.

Adžović expressed gratitude for the generous assistance the UAE provided in extinguishing recent wildfires. She emphasized that the recent visit of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who met with Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, further strengthened the already good relations between the two countries. She reaffirmed Montenegro’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with the UAE and building an even stronger partnership.

Almazrouei underlined the UAE’s dedication to maintaining high-level cooperation with Montenegro, stressing that the Emirates are a reliable partner and friend. He added that the UAE will remain committed to supporting initiatives that foster development and strengthen ties between the two nations and their citizens.

Both sides agreed that future relations should be advanced through joint projects in strategically important areas, regular political dialogue, and mutual support on the international stage, according to the ministry’s statement.
