Montenegro is committed to cooperating with China, a significant and friendly state, in all areas that correspond with the expectations of the country as the most serious candidate for EU membership, said Finance Minister Novica Vuković.
During a meeting with China’s chargé d’affaires, Lu Fangqing, Vuković highlighted the diversity and potential of Montenegro’s investment environment, outlining priority areas for investment in the near future.
Lu noted that previous joint projects, such as the Bar-Boljare highway section and the Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant, have greatly contributed to society in Montenegro and serve as a solid foundation for further cooperation and deepening of the partnership.
The participants agreed that efforts should continue to enhance investments and further strengthen the traditionally good economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
