Today, at the meeting of the Government of Montenegro, she said that on February 9, the government passed conclusions that tasked Morsko dobro to take over the operation of liner traffic on the route Kamenari – Lepetane and that in order to secure funds in the direction of financing the purchase or lease of up to six ferries and accompanying of equipment within 30 days will begin the preparation of changes to the plan for the use of funds for this year, the Mina agency reports.

“The Board of Directors (BoD) of Morsko Dobro adopted changes to the plan, which increase the funds from 7.8 million to 18.5 million euros. The planned funds consist of income from business activities, other income that includes interest on deposits, purchase of tender documents, realization of bank guarantees, income from ferry services and credit debt of four million euros,” said Novaković Đurović.

She said that, in order to more effectively approach the realization of this plan, the possibility of reallocating planned funds between planned items in the amount of no more than 20 percent of the total planned funds from the plan is proposed without special approval from the government, with the approval of the Board of the Morsko Dobro.
“Morsko dobro undertakes in that case to adjust the public procurement plan in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement after the amendment of the plan,” said Novaković Đurović.

She assessed that Morsko dobro has already shown its seriousness in implementing the government’s conclusions by purchasing the first ferry that was put into operation a few days ago, and that with this change in the plan and other obligations will be implemented in accordance with the deadline and to the satisfaction of the citizens who use transport on that route.
