In the first eight months of 2025, total revenues from gambling in Montenegro reached €25,966,396.31, marking a 24.29% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the Gaming Authority.
In August alone, revenues amounted to €5,194,656.43, up 64.83% from August 2024.
Significant growth was recorded in casino games, with revenues of €5,250,448.93, a 67.93% increase. Online and other remote gambling revenues rose 26.40% to €9,422,928.95, while revenues from slot machine clubs totaled €4,898,972.83, up 24.12%. Betting revenues reached €6,353,730.69, showing a modest 0.49% increase.
The Gaming Authority highlighted that these figures reflect stable growth in the sector, driven by modern monitoring systems that help combat the grey economy and ensure responsible gambling. The authority continues to cooperate with the Ministry of Finance to support government economic policies and protect public interest.
