Montenegro is competitive in terms of prices compared to other tourist destinations, announced the PR of the National Tourist Organization (NTO), Milena Vujović.
She said that she hopes that the economy will be careful in the formation of prices and eventual price increases and that in this way it will not have a negative impact on the season.
Vujović reminded that in the first four months of this year, 20% more guests visited Montenegro than in 2019.
She added that according to the latest data from local tourist organizations, the current attendance is at the record level of 2019.
Vujović stated that NTO collects data on prices of accommodation and furniture from local tourist organizations.
– When it comes to private accommodation, the prices in Herceg Novi start from 10 EUR, Tivat from 15 EUR, in Budva from 20 EUR and Kotor from 25 EUR. These are the accommodation prices per night for one person. When it comes to hotel accommodation in Budva, you can find it from 28 EUR, Herceg Novi from 30 EUR, Kotor from 63 EUR and Tivat from 40 EUR, depending on the category of accommodation – said Vujović.
She said that these prices show that there is an offer for everyone.
When it comes to beach furniture, Vujović stated that there is no difference compared to last year, and that they have no information about whether there will be an increase in prices.
– Currently prices for beach furniture in Budva start from 15 EUR, Kotor and Tivat as well, and in Herceg Novi from 10 EUR. We hope that the economy will be careful in the formation of prices and possible further price increases and that it will not have a negative impact on the season – announced Vujović.
