Montenegro launches key ski infrastructure project at Hajla – Štedim

The Ministry of Public Works has announced a tender for the procurement, transport, and installation of a conveyor belt with a gallery at the Hajla – Štedim ski center in Rožaje. The total estimated value of the project is 1.08 million euros, excluding VAT.

According to the ministry, this marks the implementation of one of the most important infrastructure projects in the field of winter tourism in northern Montenegro.

“This project will improve the overall tourism offer in the north, ensure better use of the natural potential of Hajla, and stimulate the local economy and job creation,” the ministry stated.

The investment, worth more than one million euros, represents the beginning of a new development phase for the Rožaje ski center and confirms the ministry’s strategic commitment to making northern Montenegro more attractive and competitive on the regional tourism map.
