Kordić informed Priante about a digitalization project in tourism aimed at providing more accurate data, improving administration, gaining better insights into the tourism market, and reducing the gray economy.

“Activities have already begun in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Administration, which is leading the digitalization processes, to prepare the conditions for acquiring the necessary software,” the statement added.

Priante emphasized that Montenegro needs better promotion in Italy and supported the idea of uniting the Balkan region in its outreach to distant countries.

Kordić and Priante agreed that direct air connections are crucial for stimulating tourism, as such links make travel easier and more comfortable, thus making the destination more attractive to tourists.

The meeting also discussed cruising and rural tourism, with a focus on ski resorts and the possibility of cooperation in these areas.

They also agreed to consider the exchange of expert staff and further training of qualified personnel.
