Montenegro has been nominated for the prestigious Wanderlust Travel Awards 2025 in the category of Most Desired European Destination, announced the National Tourism Organization (NTO).
The nomination comes from Wanderlust, the oldest and most influential travel magazine in the UK, known for promoting authentic, responsible, and inspiring travel worldwide for over three decades.
With over 150,000 copies and more than 340,000 readers per issue, plus a digital reach of over one million monthly page views, Wanderlust is a key source for British travelers when choosing their next destination.
Montenegro was already recognized in 2023 by Wanderlust readers as one of the top ten most desirable emerging destinations globally.
Such recognition confirms Montenegro’s growing visibility in the global tourism market, especially among travelers seeking authentic experiences, pristine nature, and rich culture.
The awards ceremony will take place on November 5 at the National Gallery in London.
The NTO encourages everyone to support Montenegro through voting to help strengthen its image as an attractive destination.
