Montenegro records nearly 500,000 tourist overnight stays in collective accommodation in May

In Montenegro, collective accommodation facilities recorded 169,350 tourist arrivals and 496,070 overnight stays in May, according to preliminary data from Monstat.

Of the total overnight stays in collective accommodation, 86.1% were by foreign tourists, while domestic tourists accounted for 13.9%.

By type of tourist destination, the majority of overnight stays in May were in coastal areas (87.4%), followed by the capital city with 7.6%, mountain resorts with 2.8%, and other locations with 2.2%.

Collective accommodation includes hotels, guesthouses, motels, tourist resorts, holiday villages, hostels, and campsites. It does not include private accommodation such as rented houses, rooms, or tourist apartments.
